The CL had the little flag, the CLE uses a sensor looking at the film gate, and meters before and during exposure. BIG problem with the CLE is that the meter is inoperative in manual mode. Otherwise it is a wonderful camera. The CLE uses the same meter as a certain Minolta SLR, and the parts can be interchanged. -- Regards, --- Sonny (former owner of cle and cl cameras) _http://www.sonc.com_ (http://www.sonc.com/) --- In a message dated 5/21/2004 10:59:57 AM Central Standard Time, jls@runbox.com writes: --- If that can be verified (that the CLE doesn't use the same meter as the CL), someone let me know. I hated giving up the CL, but the metering on it drove me nuts. A CLE would still be nice if Konica doesn't pan out regarding rumors of a pint-sized M camera. Jeffery
