No, the EOS-3 and 1v don't feature this. I can see this as being very 
very handy. Canon is hopelessly locked into a proprietary flash 
system (although not as bad as MInolta which doesn't even have a 
standard hot-shoe). One of the nice things about Nikon flashes is 
that most of them retain 'A' mode so you can use them on non-TTL 
cameras.
