? Journalism Tools ? Inflation Calculator

My ten times calculation between 1965 & today -- or $5,250 -- was strictly a
guess. Here's what Columbia University says:
Inflation Calculator
$525.00 in 1965 dollars becomes $3,000.00 in 2002 dollars.
This calculator was created using data provided by Professor Robert Sahr
(Robert.Sahr@orst.edu) of the Oregon State University Political Science
Department. Professor Sahr's spreadsheet, which contains a more detailed explanation of
how dollar figures are adjusted, is available as a PDF File.
More information on these conversion factors can be found at Robert Sahr's
page on the web.
