I shot some more yesterday of some sites around here (cholera graveyard from the 1800's, an old church nearby). I'm really looking for a film that will work for me in both 35mm and 120 ... and a film I can get a steady reliable supply of. I keep coming back to 400TX, so that will probably be it. I've used all of these films for so many years, ... I guess I'm not really testing ... just piddling around. Some people attribute "creamy" and "smoothness" to the Scheider Xenar on Rolleicords. If you set them at 5.6 and go in for a portrait, just about any film shines. Daniel On Sat, 17 Apr 2004, Sam wrote: > There is a creamy smoothness about the HP5 which fits the subject.
