Bonsoir,

  My 90mm Summicron lens has the serial number 2.814.605.  Recently
overhauled by Leica god himself (Gerry Smith at Kindermann).  This lens has
the (in)famous shade that covers the aperture ring when not in use.  I
absolutely love the results; outstanding bouquet that matches the old 8
element 35 mm Summicron lens (SM, thanks Michiel).  Perfectly useable at
full aperture, but probably not in the same class as the AA 90mm.  This lens
can still be bought at reasonable prices.  Definitely worth a try.
