Yes they are and very rare. It's called a Fikus, 12530, & comes in at least 
three models-- black nickel, all chrome and the not-so-rare black chrome. Some 
go back to 1935. In an old Leica International Price Guide [by Hove] they were 
valued at $90 USD, $150 USD and $150 USD. Now they might be more expensive.--
