There are rumors that a third manufacturer is being considered. I have one of the older models, the Digilux Zoom, ne Fuji 1700 Zoom. My son has a Digilux made by Panasonic. It's very confusing. I suggest we refer to Digiluxi by appending a suffix to the name, i.e. Digilux (F) or Digilux 1 (P) or Digilux ? (x). At least until Leica actually starts making its own Digiluxi.
