Sam,

This service costs between $500 and $2000+ depending upon how difficult it 
is to get the data off of the disk.

Also, many times a hard disk crash is when the read/write heads actually 
hit the disk surfaces and truly crash. The disk platter surfaces are 
history as well as all data them.
