Well, ask yourself, what part of the M configuration do you want to be able
to use digitally? The body, or the lenses? Let's be sure we don't throw the
horse away instead of the cart!

We might as well give it up. There is no way they're ever going to accept
the reality of thesituation. Imagine how they'd howl if they found out the
magnifciation of
their M lenses justwent up by a factor of 1.7. And it simply is not possible
to put a full
frame CCD chip in thecamera. Why do they think the Digilux 2 has such a
small chip, with even
such a short focallenght lense? Did they see the diagram of the inside of
this camear where
the last lenselemetn is almost touching the sensor?

The M7 is the future of M, not the Digilux 2 - for a long time to come.
Get used to it guys.
