Phong,
  60s and 70s.  Last time we were there was in the mid 80s and I sensed it's
conversion to a tourist place taken with it's reputation.

Bill,

Durgan Park is still around.  Not sure when "the day" was,
but I have been to Durgan Park a few times in the past 20
years, and have never been impressed.  It clearly caters to
tourists, and the insulting waitress bit is sometimes overdone.
It's not a terribly bad place either, but you can do better,
and I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to get there.
