The inclusion of any such nonsensical "measures" of "press freedom" show
this list to be meaningless nonsense - regardless of what one thinks of
press freedom in the U.S. or any other country.

  Under the parameters of this list, should a journalist kill his wife
and be arrested for the crime, the offending country would drop in the
rankings, for interfering with the "freedom of the press".
    Such caveats do not enhance the credibility of the data.
