In the case of Rob's pdf of assemblages with intensified contrast and color obviously does not attempt to achieve news journalism. It does come across as personal editorial journaling. I don't think words are required for contemporary viewers. Surely we have come far enough to distiguish this work as what it is - articulate, editorial, art photography. B. D.
