Hi BD, couple questions:
1 - you are converting from color digital to B&W right? How do you compare 
the output, especially at this enlargement level, with B&W film?

2 - your comment about 35mm blown up to 30x40. Have you seen the drum scan 
images from say, Galen Rowell? I have seen his 30x40 (and bigger) output 
from higher ASA films (I'm pretty sure he usually used ASA100 or higher), 
and I can assure you, they don't look awful at all. Awe-inspiring comes to 
mine :-)
