I'm also printing mainly colour most recently - I am busy scanning a couple of hundred 8x10 transparencies from my current project... never mind ink costs trying to find enough storage for those 800/900mb scans is hellish...:-) Yes the 4000 will take the two different sized biggie cartridges from the 7600/9600. The 4000 does look interesting. But I'm also tempted by the 7600 - but then a RIP for B&W costs whoa too much more... and so it goes :-( And Epson is (ha ha haaa) claiming better B&W for the 4000 - epson price $1795, so street price lower http://tinyurl.com/rme2 Time to sell some more prints to museums. tim PS > like. It's supposed to be about $1600 and I'd hate to spend another $500 $395 at Lexjet if you can get one of their deals - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
