I wanted to duplicate your efforts, but my Leica is loaded with B&W, and I wanted to try it in color. So I used my Nikon, with a zoom lens. Your image is a testament to the superiority of Leica optics, for sure. Would you have noticed the flare if I hadn't mentioned it?
