If there is a tide, it continues toward development of new methods of
taking pictures. To use an analogy, John, all this is like focusing on
your tool, rather than being in love....hopefully attention will
evenually turn to taking pictures, regardless of camera and
technology.  Right now, in some quarters, the "digital people" are
very wrapped up in thinking about equipment, not about photography and
great photos...

so as you said John, who cares ?...
