The inspectors will look at your film and see it says ASA 3200, if your cans do not indicate the ASA in some official looking way, your out of luck. Will not make any difference at Schiphol, Charles de Gaulle, Heathrow or other major European airports. No matter what it says on your film, it has to go through the scanner. If you refuse, you don't fly. Very simple. And as a frequent traveller (at least 50 round trips a year) I am grateful for this level of security. BTW, I have passed with the same roll of Neopan 1600 through hand luggage scanners several times, and have never seen any evidence of damage to my film. Nor have I seen any such evidence from any credible sources. Until I see such evidence, I will regard all such stories as urban legends.
