My double condolences.

My calico cat of 18 years is on an IV now and is not expected to come
back from the vet as a sure thing.
Kidney failure.
She who slept on half my face for 18 years. My first cat. Certainly a
bonding thing.

But Alistair was here first.

Slides the cat was my favorite photo subject and companion for just more
than a third my life and I'm 52.
She normally weight 8 pounds. I realize what this sounds like to cat non lovers.

MY dog will miss her. Dog's best friend is his cat.

Did you hear this one going around? :

Man is a dog's idea of what God should be.

I'd say:

A Cat is a dog's idea of what God should be.

Lets not underappreciate them day by day.
