Sonny

I used to love Jon's filters but since upgrading to v7 of Photoshop they
don't work. Whenever I run them I get an error message "The object 'black
channel' is not currently available'.

I've bought and tried the Fred Miranda actions but was getting too many
artefacts, so I've settled into using the high pass filter technique on a
duplicated layer. This gives me control over the sharpening and can be
altered at will.

Thanks for looking at the photographs.

Steve

Hello Steve,

While I don't think any of these suffered from not being sharpened, I'd
suggest that you sharpen only the sized version you are about to put up on
the web, and I would hope it was not 100mbyte! Sharpening seems to
be most effective that way. Also, look at Johnny Deadman's
sharpeners.Plugins for Photoshop. They Rock.
