One DVD holds 4.7 Gig. You consider that tiny for home use?>> Point of interest. My son works for NCR which supplies data warehousing systems with multi terabyte drives. A terabyte is 1000 megabytes. The company supplies many systems for storage of image material. The real trick isn't storing the data, it's keeping track of what you have stored. I personally have a 40 gigabyte disc on my laptop and a 120 gigabyte disc on my desk computer - and I always feel that I am running out of space. I periodically purge my hard discs by archiving data on DVDs. With digital image files approaching the 20 to 30 MB range, discs fill up quickly.
