When Professional Camera on 47st, NYC was in business, I complained about the fact that they had not done a good job of repairing the dent in a dropped camera I had brought in for repair. They took back the camera without a word. A few weeks later when I picked up the camera I found that they had replaced the entire case with a new one. No charge. I miss Professional. I guess the rent on 47th Street was getting too high. They had to compete for space with the diamond industry that's based in that area. Incidentally, they did great work on classic Leicas and had bought all Leitz's parts when Leica discontinued repairing pre M cameras.
