If it shows F stops and shutter speeds as well like the Hasselblad knob meter does NOT then the EV system is not in play. Logically its like saying that since horses and sheep both have hoofs you can make a wool coat out of the horse's coat if the sheep ever dies. They both have cloven hoofs (biblical!). I learned photography on an EV System camera, the Voigtländer Vito BL i always mention. I knew an ev 13 from an ev 15 at a hundred paces and a blindfold. (but no cigarette it screws up my optical responsions) My first SLR, a Nikon f2 just out that year left me starting from scratch. And i never felt like i more than scratched the surface. (Although now whenever i guess a reading out of thin air I do ok usually with it)... Anyway so much for logical and biblical all things Allegorical, Alliterational, Allusional, Analogical etc., etc., etc… Mark Rabinal Portland, Oregon etc., etc., etc… USA http://www.rabinergroup.com - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
