D. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of Simon Stevens Sent: Sunday, August 24, 2003 11:08 AM To: LUG LUG Subject: [Leica] Leica-using combat photographer website - please take a look I'm passing on the URL of photographer Jason Howe. http://www.conflictpics.com/ Jason is a photographer who I have known since he used to come into the camera store I ran in England in the mid 1980s. We haven't been in close contact since then and it was a shock for me to discover that he is now running around Colombia photographing the conflict there and being published by publications like the London Sunday Times. On the other hand, I'm a little less surprised that he shoots with Leica M as he was very admiring when I got mine. The difference is he uses his the way it was designed to be used. Please take a look. As jason says, he has come a long way since the blurry pictures of birds he used to come into the store to ask me about. I'm very proud to know him.
