I wonder if that was the year that a picture of me in the Terrapin caused the printer to refuse to print it? I don't recall if it was the 1969 or 1970 edition. There was a full-page black-and-white photograph of me, taken from the back, wearing a T-shirt that I had made that said "Nixon pull out, like your father should have". The regular Diamondback printer wouldn't touch it, so (I was told) they had to find another printer at the last minute. It was a great photograph, and I always suspected it was taken with a Leica. I was too busy dodging the draft at that point to try to track down the photographer. -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html ============================================================================ Ken Firestone, W3CAT | For every problem there is one solution kenf@speakeasy.net | which is simple, neat, and wrong. ken@firestone.net | -- H.
