What I posted is a first run without extensive photoshop work and fine tuning. I just wanted to look at them and maybe get some comments before I spent more time on them. I used to do this type of work a lot (shades of hockney I know) and just felt like going back to it for awhile, mostly because I did 3 prints like this for a current show and they got a really good response. Let me know if you want to see them, I will send you a link off list (they are pre leica, shot with an x-pan). Thanks for looking, Leo - -----Original Message----- From: Erik van der Meulen [mailto:e.van.der.meulen@avondel.com] Sent: Tue 8/12/2003 7:32 AM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Cc: Subject: Re: [Leica] new images Wesson, Leo W said: > I have posted some works in progress from a trip to the desert this summer. > Comments appreciated. Hi Leo - I like those shots a lot! George makes quite a great subject to shoot too. Forgive me for asking a (probably blatantly stupid) question. Does your 'works in progress' remark refers to the fact that some of your shots are composed out of patches of the same negative? If so, I would be interested to learn what it is exactly you are doing in this process. Thanks a lot!
