The CL is certainly "flawed," but I, too, was happy with my CLs when I owned them. Now that I use lenses beyond the 35-50-90 combination, I would find the CL limiting. But again, if it works for you, or anyone else, that's really all that matters. :-) B. I am extremely pleased with the CL and the 40mm and 90mm lenses I have for it. No, it is will not replace my M outfit, but it does supplement it nicely, and I do not feel that I have to compromise the way I take pictures in order to use it. I did feel that way when I owned a IIIf, which is why I got rid of it after a few months.
