Basically the same thing we do in our darkrooms. Run, don't walk, and get the DVD of "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" There's a terrific discussion of this, its origin, and how the film's color pallet was massively remapped. It's a truely fascinating added feature for an excellent film that is even more of a single FX feature than "Plesantville" was. Hmmm...now I'm wondering, did THAT DVD have the discussion of color timing? Well, anyway, either of them are fascinating.
