The 2/5cm ELW Summicron came in two families.  These points are about the
earlier lenses only:

They will work without modification on the M2, M3, M4, M4-P, M4-2, and M6.

Unscrewing the stud will allow their use on the M5, M6TTL, and M7.

I use my DR regularly on my M6 and without a problem.
