Leica equipment, on the other hand, has long been described on this list as an "investment" because it "holds its value." $380 for an M3 - assuming it's in good condition - sounds to me like about 1/2 of what it would have been a year ago. And God knows the M6 has taken a swan dive into the toilet. All of which is great for those who want to increase their Leica holdings - but bad news for sellers. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of Steve LeHuray Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2003 1:35 PM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] Equipment getting really cheap B.D. In the past 8 months I have been able to buy (at Leica dealer) an M3 for $380, an rare Summaron 35/2.8 ltm for $220 and a Rollie TLR 2.8f for $200. Now maybe I will look into F5s. sl - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
