Hi, George,

Sounds like you talked to a lawyer.  That should have been my (and everyone else's) first advice to you.

That's a very well written letter, one that should raise a few eyebrows, to say the least.  I think it would be great to keep the list informed of your progress.

Best of luck, and thanks for standing up to the bullies.  We all have to do that more often, and I for one take inspiration from seeing someone else do it.
