77 is just right if you just add another 7 and use Harvey's 777 
developer.  It's at its best above 70 deg F.

My standard 777 temperature is 75deg even in winter (I use the JOBO 
tempering bath).  In the summer I process at the ambient temperature.

Makes life much simpler and the results are superb with the new Tri X.
