I've got the Nikkor 50/1.4 in Leica screwmount that sells for way less. The lens is spotless in all respects (one tiny bubble in the glass of the inner element but that shouldn't be any problem) it is scaled in feet and focuses from inf-3.5 ft coupled and down to 1.5 ft uncoupled from the RF on my IIIc or M4P. > > > >Does anyone know anything about this lens or where I can find more info about it? Is it reputed to be any better a performer than the Summarit that I use now? (I like the shorter scale focusing ability.) Prone to flare in bright light or halos in available darkness wide open? > > > >The owner has pretty much left it up to me to make an offer and it comes with a mint 1:3.5 f=5cm collapsible Elmar as well. I want to be fair to him (he just wants to see the lenses used) but of course want as good a bargain as possible. :) > > > >Any responses welcome. > > > >Carpe Luminem, > >Michael Eric Bérubé > >_______________________________________________ > > http://www.GoodPhotos.com > >"Quality Documentation Photography Since 1985" > >_______________________________________________ > >When your daily activities are in concert with your highest priorities, you have a credible claim to inner peace. - Hyrum Smith > > > >-- > >To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html > > > > > > > > -- > To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
