I'm using the Nikon LS-4000 with the SF-200 feeder. The main problem I have with it is the plastic mounts that the local pro labs use. If the mounts are sealed properly, the slides tend to feed pretty well. But if, as was the case with a batch of 250 rolls I got back a few months ago, the "rivets" are not flush or near to it, they jam like crazy. - --Jim - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Austin Franklin" <darkroom@ix.netcom.com> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Friday, June 27, 2003 8:33 AM Subject: RE: [Leica] R8/R9 Digital Back announced > > > No, the GREAT benefit to digital is that you don't have to waste time > > scanning and clearing slide feeder jams. > > Hey Jim, buy a decent scanner! > > ;-) > > -- > To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
