[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]there are 2 versions, the viso mount which does not require any adapter for any viso II or III, and and the R mount which will not fit on a viso. the viso version can be used with an adapter with the R body (and with other adapters with many other SLRs, such as n*k*n and c*n*n). the reason is that viso lenses are designed with an extremely long flange-to-film distance (think about it, the distance includes the M flange to film distance plus the width of the mirror box.) so there is plenty of room for adapters to any 35mm SLR. from what i've seen the viso version is rarer. i picked a mint 560/400 viso set from *b*y a while back for $1500. i use it for my son's t-ball games. the shoulder support and trombone style focusing are very ergonomic. and because of its simple 2-element design it is quite light despite its size. - -rei On Sat, Jun 21, 2003 at 10:36:19PM +1000, Alan Walsh wrote: > Rick, > > If it's the one I think it is (Fletcher's Photo), its been there for > some time, so the price may be negotiable.
