It is said that it will be available in the fall... B. Perhaps there will be a modification to the existing mount like AI to AIs or "D" or some other added feature... a whole new mount makes very little economic sense... unless they were to unveil a whole new system ala the OM 1 in 1972... perhaps a 10+ MP full frame compact digital SLR that also takes film, is no larger than an FM3a, takes f1.0/1.2 lenses in the new mount and sells with lenses for $249 retail and by the way, is solar powered... now that would justify a new mount...
