The panorama might just be a bit too wide, too long, on the screen. It feels like it needed support in the middle. On paper, on the wall, that may be different. In any case, it is quite an idyllic image. The grain on the sepia works for me on the screen(I am usually not too adverse to grains anyway). 30"x40" ? Wow. Haven't I seen this child before ? - - Phong - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of Rob Heyman Sent: Thursday, June 12, 2003 10:50 AM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: [Leica] Beach panorama I have just posted two new portraits to the Leica-gallery site. These were part of a recent portrait session where I used a borrowed Canon 10D to shoot with. The Leica shots were fine, but the chance to play with something new led me to try a few shots that I normally would not attempt. The sepia shot is an extreme crop at 1600 ISO and I love the digital grain or noise that is on the original print. Would love to hear comments and opinions of these, especially re the grainy look. http://www.leica-gallery.net/heymanphoto/folder-4878.html Rob - -- __________________________________ Rob Heyman Photography 32 Binyara Street CHAPEL HILL Qld 4069 Ph 07 3878 3884 fax 07 3378 6639 __________________________________ - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
