There are an increasing number of leica dealers, and perhaps they can convince Adeal to do it. I did go to one years ago in Hobart. It was what drew me into Leica, so it does work. The Leica rep said the dealer would be happy to lend me an r4 with 3 lenes to test: the dealer looked nervous but agreed. I ran b/w and colour slide images with the R4 and my Minolta system (essentially the same camera) and "loved" the lenses. I did not buy then, but it convinced me to buy a CLE -- from there it was all downhill financially all uphill on sharpness. ;-) Paul writes: > Do they have Leica Days in Melbourne? > > I actualy realigned mine myself, its not very difficult, just make sure your > focussing on something a very long way away! > > Yurg stands out back of his shop and aligns it by focusing on a building in > the city :) > > Paul > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "firkin" <firkin@balhpl01.ncable.net.au> > To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> > Sent: Wednesday, June 11, 2003 3:52 PM > Subject: [Leica] Re: My baby has a boo boo > > >> Depends where you are ;-) Here, I'd suggest Yurg at European Camera in St >> Kilda Rd, but this is not something you want to do yourself -- that much I >> do know. >> Leica will fix it at a "Leica Day", but you may not wish to wait that long >> >> Cheers >> >> David Degner writes: >> >> > Yesterday I was working with my M6TTL and I noticed that when I move my >> > lens to infinity the rangfinder says I am focusing on something about 15 >> > feet away.
