For planned events, such as days out, parties etc. I use the M6 as I can plan ahead. I am still not so quick with the M that I can pick it up meter, focus and shoot quickly enough to catch candid moments, especially with the speed that they happen with young children. For fast, spur of the moment shots I use the Contax T3 if I want quality output for the album, or a digital if it is for some good quality 6"x4" prints for family and friends. I just started using the Digilux 1 which is great for the latter. Sometimes I just wander aroung aimlessly with the Hassy 503 and I have had some reasonable candids with that, but it is far from inconspicuous! Usually use that for the studio lights and more formal pictures.
