[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]I am the one who started this thread and I am amazed at some of the comments. I get the digest and the first digest had a few comments all blasting my friend's friend. They have since sort of averaged out, some thinking the bargen was just fine, others thinking my friend's friend robbed the Salvation Army. Others rightly said they do not know if this person gave to charities or helped others. Well, I do not know this person and would not recognize him if he were shooting me with his new M3. I do know he is a fireman, and firemen have a long tradition of giving of themselves both moniterally and of their time to help people. That is all I can do to inform those who were outraged at his bargin. I did find it intersting the way this went where I had no idea it would go, but then again, this is the LUG and anything inocent can be turned into world war III here. I have to admit that some of the comments made me think twice about what I would have done in this situaion, as it has made some of you think that way. So, I guess some good has come from this. So now to echo someone's sentiments, lets get out and shoot those cameras, no matter what we paid for them. Aram - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
