IF it is it's for Sy the Minilab Guy. If it's not it's for the scanners and the last remaining Omega's and Beselers. I think with Digital people have less time for running film. They bring their C41 to the minilab and get it back uncut in 20 minutes while they have a latté next door. Claims are made that chromegic films are more scannable but it think that's questionable. I know for sure they are harder to darkroom print and can not be shot at any ASA one wants to like a digital camera but must be shot at IT'S true film speed. Underexposure is underexposure with the chromegic films I've tried. And over exposure is over exposure. Kind of similar to working with color neg film. Minus a few layers. I use mainly Neo films I know why you're here, Neo. I know what you've been doing... why you hardly sleep, why you live alone, and why night after night, you sit by your computer. You're looking for him. I know because I was once looking for the same thing. And when he found me, he told me I wasn't really looking for him. I was looking for an answer. It's the question, Neo. It's the question that drives us. It's the question that brought you here. You know the question, just as I did. Neo: What is the Matrix? I use the Across 100 for my high res shots wishing they'd come out with it in 220. I use the 400 very seldom, it's great film. I often use the 1600 which looks better than a 400 film to me. Say 300. So i go between the 1600 and the 100. It's like people who don't like the 50 but go out with a 35 and a 60 ... or 75 or 90 even. In medium format 6x6 I'm going out with a 100 and a 60. The fork approach is think of it in my own mind as. There is no spoon. I love Ilford paper. Isn't' Ilford a very small company? And isn't Fuji a huge company? Heck they've got a blimp don't they? Does Ilford have a blimp? "The Ilford blimp!?" :) Welcome to the real world.
