I suspect that it is from a movie camera. Since it is a real Albada type finder, I intend to cut off the base and mount it on a shoe to fit the top of my M3 for use with a 35mm Summicron. May I be so rude as to ask what you paid? I paid $2 at the Grossmont College Camera Show on May 3.
