We all know and love Tina - respect her and her work - She's cool!! and the only people that have to watch out about this kind of stuff are people like me (and a few others) who should 1- take a CLOSE look at whatever they put out IF and WHEN it comes. It my be a good thing! Maybe "element sealed" around the contact points, or have some great features. It MIGHT, and I STRESS MIGHT - be just the ticket to get them going , and maybe a lower price. We've heard 'stories' from Leica before. I'll give them a chance. But whatever it is, it, like the poor Canon !Ds, will be obsolete very fast (as the Canon 1D , D30 etc.) and "used" ones will turn up hardly used for less than half the price - and FAST. Got my Nikon D1x used - brand new in box, about a year after it came out, for two grand. These rich "Professionals" around Boston (OK - My wife's a Physician; but pediatrics and neos doesn't count :-) ) who have to have the best of the best at any cost helps out in a big way to place these things on the shelves. But it happens all around the "Camera World" - Soccer parents NEED that Canon 1Ds with the bevy of Vibration Reduction lenses to get SI quality pictures of their kids in action. To them I say "Go for it , Man - Box up that Canon 1D just as it was when you bought it six months ago, and get that 1Ds, your kids are only little once!! Do it for them!" ... and to my Dealer I say - " call me ASAP when a new in the box 'whatever- it - is- I - need' hits the shelf.
