This unit is a portable 30 Gig drive with a slot for compact flash cards and an instant copy function. After storing your photos (or MPEG motion pictures, or MP3 music files) on the Flashtrax, you may then view them on its bright active LCD screen. (Or listen to MP3's by headphone or on the built in speaker. At 3.5" this unit lets you zoom in and see if your pictures are in focus, but it is not as heavy or hard to carry around as a laptop.
