Not every household is going to throw away their family camera and buy a digital. It takes only an hour to get back prints with film but 1-3 working days if I uploaded .jpg files to process into prints. Again not every household has a computer. "Darkroom is dying" for the colour enthusiast but will remain strong for the B&W purist (at least for some time to come). I would not be surprised that good B&W prints will be considered an even greater art form and collectible with good values placed on them "Digital is growing" is not surprising since it is tied closely with IT.
