The point is some SOB uses your picture, your roll of film, your cost of processing, your time of editing, your taking the film to the lab and whatever other costs are involved and that son of a bitch has taken money right out of your pocket at absolutely no cost to him! And in the end, due to your photograph, has filled his pockets with coins of gold! Screw it! The sooner amateurs and many professionals realize having a picture ripped off on the internet is a crime, no different than robbing a bank, the sooner many of us will receive reasonable compensation for our efforts. Thinking it's cool having a picture you made pilfered for the economic betterment of another is neat without any compensation because they liked your picture, the sooner we who make our living as photographers will at least have the possibility of surviving through our old age without working for a great big corporation. And I shouldn't assume, many on this list do work for a corporation where retirement benefits go hand in glove with a retirement fee from the corporation. And yes I do understand some of you pay into the retirement fund over the years for your old years watching clouds form and grass grow. And what the hell does this have to do with using a Leica camera? ted Grant - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
