It is FAR easier to see flare with an SLR than it is with an RF
camera. (obviously)

Some people don't use a lens hood indoors, but you would be
astounded how much flare could be generated by flash reflections
off walls that are not even in the picture.

Leica is doing a dis-service by not recommending or supplying
a lens hood with the Elmar.
