At least they should be able to give you an idea what route to take. If nothing else go after the Turkish Embassy in Ottawa Commercial attaché for assistance. You may find the only re-course if you have the funding and time, is to take it through a Canadian law firm to challenge the guy in the Turkish court. However, as aggravating as it is someone else has your material on their website, do you feel he's making a ton of money from your work? If so, is it truly worth the cost to recover income and to make him stop? I imagine this kind of skullduggery on the internet goes on in so many locations we as photographers have almost no control who uses it. Is there anyone here who has the income to do a world wide web search "daily" looking for their personal photography used by some ner do well SOB?
