I have used Fogg bags for years and recently completed an experiment. I put a new LHSA M6 black lacquer into a Fogg bag along with the rest of my kit and carried it daily everywhere I go, for two years, so much my son says I am carrying a purse. No piece of equipment has a scuff, bright mark or any body brassing. I have used the more commercial "modern cordura bags" and they abrade everything I carry in them. What ever Fogg lines the bags with, some kind of special linen I believe, seems to stop the wear. Snob appeal or not I prefer to take the best care of my tools as possible if not I would just throw everything into an army surplus canvas bag and be off. My 2 cents worth.
