[Leica] best ring to attach strap to M body?

a wee bit obsessive but.. here goes:

Y'know that neat attachment device on the end of the leica  camera strap -
the bent metal hoop with the locking plastic slide which prevents the ring
from marring the camera body?

Anyone know of a similar ring that will allow me to attach a non-leica
strap?
Goal is to prevent the ring from rubbing the camera.
