What possible point is there in arguing with people on the LUG forum? Does anyone think that the folks 'debating' over there aren't fixed in their opinions? Or that they are experts on the issues at hand and will therefore truly educate one? Liberals who want to vent can call NPR and preach to the converted; conservatives can call Rush Limbaugh; and Nazi's can call Michael Savage. Why waste time on the LUG forum? ;-) B. My opinion........ The LUGFORUM has siphoned off all the war talk and politics and so what we have here is what's left. I sporadically check the LUGFORUM and while I appreciate having politics/wartalk OFF the LUG I wonder how the "combatants" on the LUGFORUM will regard each other when (and if) they decide to discuss photography/Leica at some point in the future. The reason I don't spend much of any time on the LUGFORUM is that I'm afraid that I would form bad/negative opinions about some of the people there and it would taint my feelings once I discuss Leica/photography. I know this makes me a petty individual but there ya go. ernie At 09:50 AM 4/10/03 -0700, you wrote: >Ernest Nitka wrote: > > > > Something in the air - I can't connect to my own web site!
